Where are CxO Ascent executive retreats held?
In and around America's National Parks and mountain country. Base camps so far: Asheville, North Carolina (Blue Ridge Mountains), Colorado Springs, Colorado (Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains), Bozeman, Montana (Yellowstone National Park), St. George, Utah (Zion National Park).
When is the next CxO Ascent retreat?
CISO Ascent gathers at Zion National Park May 1–5, 2027; CIO Ascent gathers at Zion National Park May 12–16, 2027.
How long is a retreat, and how hard are the hikes?
Retreats run three to five days. Hikes and activities are generally rated easy to moderate and are suitable for most fitness levels.
Who can attend a CISO or CIO retreat?
Retreats are invitation-only and built for one seat at a time. CISO Ascent retreats are for Chief Information Security Officers and CIO Ascent retreats are for Chief Information Officers. Groups stay small and curated.
How do I request an invitation?
Open the retreat you are interested in and choose Request an Invitation on the community website, or reach the CxO Ascent team through our contact page.
Do the retreats give back to the parks?
Yes. A portion of every retreat supports the National Parks and the surrounding communities that host us.
