CxO Ascent Expands Its Executive Communities with the Launch of CIO Ascent
Inspired by the community taking shape through CISO Ascent, a new chapter brings the same belief in people, relationships, and time outdoors to Chief Information Officers.
The idea that brought CISO Ascent to life has room to reach more leaders.
CxO Ascent is expanding its executive communities with the launch of CIO Ascent, a dedicated community for Chief Information Officers built around meaningful relationships, time in America's National Parks, and opportunities to recharge.
A new chapter inspired by CISO Ascent
CISO Ascent began with a belief that cybersecurity leaders deserved a community centered on people, shared experiences, and giving back.
Our inaugural Asheville retreat gave that belief a place to become real. Leaders spent time outdoors, began building friendships, and helped shape an experience they wanted to carry forward.
That beginning inspired us to bring the same care to another leadership community. CIO Ascent extends the vision to technology executives with a gathering place of their own.

A dedicated community for technology leadership
Chief Information Officers guide technology strategy while balancing the needs of their organizations, teams, and the people who depend on them. The role brings significant responsibility and a need for trusted relationships with peers.
CIO Ascent is being created around those leaders. It offers a setting where CIOs can get to know one another beyond a title, share perspective, and step far enough away from their daily routine to recharge.
A dedicated community gives those relationships time to develop among people who understand the responsibilities of technology leadership.
Distinct communities, a shared belief
CISO Ascent will continue serving cybersecurity leaders. CIO Ascent will focus on Chief Information Officers. Both are part of the CxO Ascent vision.
Each community has its own people and shared experiences. What connects them is a commitment to people above profit, genuine relationships, and the value of time outdoors.
Expanding the organization means carrying those principles into a new community and taking the time to build it with care.
The National Parks remain at the heart
America's National Parks and the landscapes around them offer room to slow down, explore, and experience something together. A trail can give a conversation time to continue in a way a busy calendar rarely does.
CIO Ascent will carry that outdoor focus into its retreat experiences, alongside an appreciation for the parks and communities that host us.
The aim is to create experiences that leave members with renewed perspective and people they look forward to seeing again.
Help shape CIO Ascent
We are excited to welcome technology leaders into this new chapter. The community will be shaped by the people who join it, the perspectives they bring, and the relationships they choose to build.
CIO Ascent membership is completely free. Chief Information Officers can apply to become members. Once approved, applicants will receive a retreat invitation.
